Research statement - Updated 2/24/12.

Elizabeth is a PhD Candidate in Mathematics at Duke University. Her research focuses include Computational Topology, Computational Geometry, and Algorithms. Her recent work involved a topological criterion for coverage in a sensor network (papers), and is currently working on topological methods to understand point sets which change over time. Currently, this includes collaborations with baboon and chimpanzee experts to use agent based models and topological methods to understand group fission and fusion patterns.
